I’ve got this silly shoelace, I don’t know what to do. 

I have this funny feeling that you might have one too.

No matter what I try it just won’t stay in place. 

I really am a patient person, but this is a disgrace. 

I’ve used gum and tape and super glue all to no avail. 

Next I am planning on using a rusty squiggly nail. 

But even if through all my folly I continue to always fail.

I have a plan that is sure to work, I’ll just call it my tail.
