On this day I feel free even though I’m nearly lost

I realized my sacrifices are worth much more than their cost

Others eyes see me as fallen but I know I stand tall

I’m not perfect but I’m trying as I daily hear the call

It rings in my ears and drives away fears, 

giving confidence as doubt disappears

In its place I find this feeling, seems I have never had before

It’s so good and without deception, 100% pure 

But then I remember it was there all along

It was really I that choose not to listen for it’s song

It’s beneficial to self admit when you wrong

While also finding strength in what is known to be true

It discourages when others judge, yet really have no clue

From now on I choose to be driven and alive

Dancing daily in gratitude, rediscovering my thrive
